Development of a new method for RMR and Q classification method to optimize support system in tunneling

摘要: Rock mass classification system is very suitable for various engineering design and stability analysis. classification method is confirmed by Japan Highway Public Corporation that this method can figure out either strength or deformability of rock mass, further appropriating the amount of rock bolts, thickness of shotcrete, and size of pitch of steel ribs just after the blasting procedure. Based on these advantages of method, in this study, according to data of five deep and long tunnels in Iran, two equations for estimating the value of method from and classification systems were developed. These equations as a new method were able to optimize the support system for and classification systems. From classification and its application in these case studies, it is pointed out that the method for the design of support systems in underground working is more reliable than the and classification systems.

Seed-induced synthesis of functional MFI zeolite materials: Method development, crystallization mechanisms

摘要: As an important zeolite material, MFI zeolites, as well as their controllable synthesis, are of great interest in both basic and applied science. Among the developed synthetic approaches, the seed-induced method has gradually evolved into a facile, low-cost, and even green alternative to give zeolites the desirable physicochemical properties. In this review, we briefly summarize the development of seed-induced syntheses of diverse functional MFI zeolites, where the “living” seed crystals not only direct the formation of zeolitic framework but also function as special “templates” or “units” to fine-tune the zeolite materials with diverse sizes, shapes, compositions, morphologies and pore structures. Moreover, on the basis of their structural features and crystallization behaviors in seed-induced synthesis, we reveal the roles of seeds and discuss the related crystallization mechanisms including both classical and non-classical pathways. We also want to guide readers to investigate the structure-performance relationships between these functional MFI zeolite catalysts and suitable catalytic reactions.

Development of a seismic design method based on response spectra for building structures

摘要: The assumption and problem of the mode-superposition response spectrum method in seismic design code is discussed based on a brief review of the development of the seismic design method for building structures. The scope of application for the classical damping theory is analyzed and the necessity of the research on mode-superposition method for non-classical damping is presented. The progresses on the mode superposition response spectrum theory are discussed. This includes: 1) the complex mode superposition method (in real form) for the non-classically damped linear system and the general calculation formula for the application of code; 2) the complex complete quadratic combination (CCQC) method for the non-classically damped linear system, which is based on the same assumptions as in deducing the complete quadratic combination (CQC) method which is popularly used in seismic design codes of many countries; 3) the complex complete quadratic combination with three components (CCQC3) method, which is a generalization of the CCQC method to the case of multi-components and multiple-support seismic excitations and deducing corresponding method; 4) the approach for calculation of seismic response of the non-classically damped system with overcritical damping and the calculation method of seismic response for the linear system with multiple eigenvalues; 5) the time-dependent CCQC (t) algorithm considering nonstationary earthquake ground motion; 6) an applied and effective method to solve the low order complex vector basis for the large linear non-classically damped system, which can be expediently used in practice to avoid the unknown errors coming from the forced uncoupling method; 7) bringing forward the concept of partial quadratic combination in order to reduce the calculation amount of CQC and CCQC methods, and studying the primary estimation-criterion. The reasonability and applicable scope of these methods are also briefly discussed in this paper.

Development of mix design method based on statistical analysis of different factors for geopolymer concrete

摘要: The present study proposes the mix design method of Fly Ash (FA) based geopolymer concrete using Response Surface Methodology (RSM). In this method, different factors, including binder content, alkali/binder ratio, NS/NH ratio (sodium silicate/sodium hydroxide), NH molarity, and water/solids ratio were considered for the mix design of geopolymer concrete. The 2D contour plots were used to setup the mix design method to achieve the target compressive strength. The proposed mix design method of geopolymer concrete is divided into three categories based on curing regime, specifically one ambient curing (25 °C) and two heat curing (60 and 90 °C). The proposed mix design method of geopolymer concrete was validated through experimentation of M30, M50, and M70 concrete mixes at all curing regimes. The observed experimental compressive strength results validate the mix design method by more than 90% of their target strength. Furthermore, the current study concluded that the required compressive strength can be achieved by varying any factor in the mix design. In addition, the factor analysis revealed that the NS/NH ratio significantly affects the compressive strength of geopolymer concrete.

基于双目标渐进法的中国省域生态文明发展水平评估研究

摘要:

本文构建了包含4个领域、10个目标、25个指标的省域生态文明发展水平评估指标体系。在对比和改进现有数据标准化处理方法的基础上,提出双目标渐进法对评价指标进行归一化处理,并采用综合加权指数法对2014年我国的31个省、自治区、直辖市的生态文明发展水平进行评估。结果显示,我国生态文明发展水平较低,东南沿海地区生态文明发展水平高于中西部地区。总体来看,目前我国整体经济社会建设成效显著,但我国生态文明发展水平与预期目标及国际水平相比还有一定差距,因此在生态环境保护、工业污染控制、产业优化和资源高效利用方面还需加强。

Computational methods for fracture in rock: a review and recent advances

摘要: We present an overview of the most popular state-of-the-art computational methods available for modelling fracture in rock. The summarized numerical methods can be classified into three categories: Continuum Based Methods, Discrete Crack Approaches, and Block-Based Methods. We will not only provide an extensive review of those methods which can be found elsewhere but particularly address their potential in modelling fracture in rock mechanics and geotechnical engineering. In this context, we will discuss their key applications, assumptions, and limitations. Furthermore, we also address ‘general’ difficulties that may arise for simulating fracture in rock and fractured rock. This review will conclude with some final remarks and future challenges.

Development of an axial-type fan with an optimization method

摘要: An axial-type fan that operates at a relative total pressure of 671Pa and a static pressure of 560Pa with a flowrate of 416.6m/min is developed using an optimization technique based on the gradient method. Prior to the optimization of the fan blade, a three-dimensional axial-type fan blade is designed based on the free-vortex method along the radial direction. Twelve design variables are applied to the optimization of the rotor blade, and one design variable is selected for optimizing a stator which is located behind the rotor to support a fan-driving motor. The total and static pressure are applied to the restriction condition with the operating flowrate on the design point, and the efficiency is chosen as the response variable to be maximized. Through these procedures, an initial axial-fan blade designed by the free vortex method is modified to increase the efficiency with a satisfactory operating condition. The optimized fan is tested and compared with the performance obtained with the same class fan to figure out the optimization effect. The test results show that the optimized fan not only satisfies the restriction conditions but also operates at the same efficiency even though the tip clearance of the optimized fan is greater than 30%. The experimental and numerical tests show that this optimization method can improve the efficiency and operating pressures on axial-type fans.

淮河生态经济带氢能运输走廊发展SWOT分析

摘要:

针对汽车等载运工具消耗石油资源迅速增长而石油资源不足问题,用氢能做汽车等载运工具的燃料,是解决载运工具燃料问题的重要举措之一。国内已在江苏沿海建成非并网风电制氢示范工程,并规划建设沿淮千里淮河氢能运输走廊。本文通过SWOT(strengths,weaknesses,opportunities,threats)分析表明淮河生态经济带氢能运输走廊发展优势与劣势并存,机遇与威胁同在,并提出了淮河生态经济带氢能运输走廊发展目标。最后,本文提出了淮河生态经济带氢能运输走廊发展的对策与建议。

文章在论述区域水资源可持续利用与水资源承载能力关系的前提下,提出了区域水资源可持续利用评价的模糊模式识别理论、模型和方法。应用所建立的模型对汉中盆地水资源可持续利用的程度进行了评价,应用实例表明,理论模型严谨,方法简洁,评价结果合理可行。此方法也可用于区域社会经济可持续发展等的评价。

Development of MCBurn and its application in the analysis of SCWR physical characteristics

摘要: The MCBurn, a coupled code system linking the Monte Carlo N-particle transport code(MCNP) and Oak Ridge isotope generation and depletion code (ORIGEN), can resolve the basic calculation problems in reactor physical design and analysis, such as criticality, power distribution, nuclide burn up, and neutron fluence. It has been verified in the pressurized water reactor (PWR) pin model, fast reactor (FR) burn up model, and boiling water reactor(BWR) assemble model with benchmarked results. In supercritical water reactor (SCWR) physical calculations, the calculation conditions such as the geometry, the neutron spectrum, and the fuel materials, etc., are more complex than those in traditional reactors, which is a great challenge to reactor physics calculation code. However, the MCBurn code is a possible solution. In this paper, several update functions of the MCBurn in new neutron cross-section lib, code interface, and neutron flux distribution were described. The application of the MCBurn in SCWR were verified on a supercritical water reactor assemble. The calculation results show that the MCBurn is accurate and adaptable in the SCWR calculation.

Key issues in development of offshore natural gas hydrate

摘要: As a new clean energy resource in the 21st century, natural gas hydrate is considered as one of the most promising strategic resources in the future. This paper, based on the research progress in exploitation of natural gas hydrate (NGH) in China and the world, systematically reviewed and discussed the key issues in development of natural gas hydrate. From an exploitation point of view, it is recommended that the concepts of diagenetic hydrate and non-diagenetic hydrate be introduced. The main factors to be considered are whether diagenesis, stability of rock skeleton structure, particle size and cementation mode, thus NGHs are divided into 6 levels and used unused exploitation methods according to different types. The study of the description and quantitative characterization of abundance in hydrate enrichment zone, and looking for gas hydrate dessert areas with commercial exploitation value should be enhanced. The concept of dynamic permeability and characterization of the permeability of NGH by time-varying equations should be established. The ‘Three-gas co-production’ (natural gas hydrate, shallow gas, and conventional gas) may be an effective way to achieve early commercial exploitation. Although great progress has been made in the exploitation of natural gas hydrate, there still exist enormous challenges in basic theory research, production methods, and equipment and operation modes. Only through hard and persistent exploration and innovation can natural gas hydrate be truly commercially developed on a large scale and contribute to sustainable energy supply.

Development of an H reduction and moderate oxidation method for 3,5-dimethylpyridine hydrogenation in

摘要: The Ru/C catalyst prepared by impregnation method was used for hydrogenation of 3,5-dimethylpyridine in a trickle bed reactor. Under the same reduction conditions (300 °C in H2), the catalytic activity of the non-in-situ reduced Ru/C-n catalyst was higher than that of the in-situ reduced Ru/C-y catalyst. Therefore, an in-situ H2 reduction and moderate oxidation method was developed to increase the catalyst activity. Moreover, the influence of oxidation temperature on the developed method was investigated. The catalysts were characterized by Brunauer–Emmett–Teller method, hydrogen temperature programmed reduction H2-TPR, hydrogen temperature-programmed dispersion (H2-TPD), X-ray diffraction, energy dispersive spectroscopy, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy, Raman spectroscopy, O2 chemisorption and oxygen temperature-programmed dispersion (O2-TPD) analyses. The results showed that there existed an optimal Ru/RuOx ratio for the catalyst, and the highest 3,5-dimethylpyridine conversion was obtained for the Ru/C-i1 catalyst prepared by in-situ H2 reduction and moderate oxidation (oxidized at 100 °C). Excessive oxidation (200 °C) resulted in a significant decrease in the Ru/RuOx ratio of the in-situ H2 reduction and moderate oxidized Ru/C-i2 catalyst, the interaction between RuOx species and the support changed, and the hard-to-reduce RuOx species was formed, leading to a significant decrease in catalyst activity. The developed in-situ H2 reduction and moderate oxidation method eliminated the step of the non-in-situ reduction of catalyst outside the trickle bed reactor.

有限元极限分析法发展及其在岩土工程中的应用

有限元极限分析法兼有数值分析法与经典极限分析法两者的优点,特别适用于岩土工程的分析与设计。20世纪初,国内岩土工程界应用国际上通用程序,大力发展有限元极限分析法并拓宽其在岩土工程中的应用。在基本理论研究、提高计算精度、拓宽应用范围及工程实际应用等方面取得了很大成绩。重点介绍作者及其合作者的一些研究成果。主要包括岩土工程安全系数定义、方法原理、整体失稳判据、强度准则的推导、选用及提高计算精度等方面的研究。应用范围从二维扩大到三维,从均质土坡、土基扩大到有节理的岩质边坡与岩基,从稳定渗流扩大到不稳定渗流、从边坡与地基工程扩大到隧道、还用于寻找边(滑)坡中的多个潜在滑面,进行岩土与结构共同作用的支挡结构设计,计算机仿真地基承载板载荷试验等应用项目,以逐渐达到革新岩土工程设计方法的目的。

Development of combined transitional pavement structure for urban tram track-road grade crossings

摘要: The grade crossings and adjacent pavements of urban trams are generally subjected to complex load conditions and are susceptible to damage. Therefore, in this study, a novel pavement structure between tram tracks and roads constructed using polyurethane (PU) elastic concrete and ultra-high-performance concrete (UHPC), referred to as a track-road transitional pavement (TRTP), is proposed. Subsequently, its performance and feasibility are evaluated using experimental and numerical methods. First, the mechanical properties of the PU elastic concrete are evaluated. The performance of the proposed structure is investigated using a three-dimensional finite element model, where vehicle-induced dynamic and static loads are considered. The results show that PU elastic concrete and the proposed combined TRTP are applicable and functioned as intended. Additionally, the PU elastic concrete achieved sufficient performance. The recommended width of the TRTP is approximately 50 mm. Meanwhile, the application of UHPC under a PU elastic concrete layer significantly reduces vertical deformation. Results of numerical calculations confirmed the high structural performance and feasibility of the proposed TRTP. Finally, material performance standards are recommended to provide guidance for pavement design and the construction of tram-grade crossings in the future.

Present situation and classification of piezoelectric pump

摘要: According to the present classification method for a piezoelectric pump, this paper reviews the development and present situation of piezoelectric pumps in the latest 30 years and finally puts forward a new classification. A volumetric piezoelectric pump, which belongs to traditional volumetric pumps, can be divided into a piezoelectric pump with or without valves. A new valveless piezoelectric pump nowadays becomes a hot issue in scientific research. It is constructed by using no-moving-part valves, which can induce positive flow resistance and negative flow resistance different, and in which the inlet and outlet are connected all the time. New forms of piezoelectric pumps, different from traditional ones, are only at the stage of conception and principle, and no practical application has been reported.
